Household Money Review
A wedding in this district often joins more than two incomes. It joins a parent's monthly expectation, a transfer that was called a gift and later called a loan, and the cash a stall or a boat actually brings home.
Who it is for
Couples in the year before they form one household, or in the first year after.
What you leave with
A single page that shows what is shared, what stays in each name, which family transfers are gifts, and which must be repaid, plus a plain monthly picture for the first shared year.
Two meetings at the Ban Phru office, usually three weeks apart. Both people attend the first meeting.
Included
- A joint sitting with both people in the room
- A written page that separates gifts, loans, and day-to-day costs
- A monthly picture for the first year of the shared household
Outside this sitting
- A full 12-month milestone calendar, which is the Milestone Planning Session
- Choosing a bank loan or an insurance contract
- Mediating a dispute between the two families
How the time unfolds
-
01
Both people, one table
Farid asks each person what they already pay to parents, what they have saved, and what has been promised for the feast or the house.

The shared page
Three weeks later you both read the same page. Transfers that must be repaid are given a month. Money that is truly a gift is marked so it can be spent.
What to bring
Each person brings the figures they are willing to say aloud: savings, debts, regular support to parents, and any sum already handed over for the wedding.
Limits we keep
The first meeting is booked only when both people can attend. A later private conversation with one person is a separate appointment, so the other is not discussed in absence without agreement.
The fee
A fixed fee, quoted before the first joint meeting. Half the fee is paid to reserve the two meetings. The rest is paid when the written page is handed over. The introductory conversation fee of 1,500 THB is credited if you book this review within 30 days.
The full fee schedule explains deposits and what changes a quote.
